What are the health risks of living beside a waste disposal facility?

Depends!: It depends entirely on the methods used. In countries where there are no regulations to monitor safety & environmental, topographical, social, economic & human impact of the facility then it can have more negative impact. In the US, and especially in California, I would hope that these matters are handled more carefully, both ethically and legally. However, corruption occurs in the US, too often ...Read more

Short exercise break: You sound pretty stressed, and exams can definitely be a stressful time. Exercise actually helps reduce stress and improve concentration, so a brief (15-30 minute) break to work out once or twice a day may be just what you need to "reset" and get back into studying. Good luck with your exams! ...Read more

What happens if you come in contact with nuclear waste?

Depends: Most nuclear waste is well protected and you would have to cross barriers and ignore warnings to get into contact. If someone actually were to contact it, the problems would relate to the radioactivity of the waste, the time of exposure, the type of isotope in the waste and the part of the body exposed. In the worse case, the blood marrow will be destroyed and the victim die of anemia. ...Read more

Is there any clinical evidence for biomeridian testing? Is it a waste of time?

Quackery: These machines are great for learning biofeedback in a clinical setting ... Other that that, I've seen literally no evidence that it works. In fact, the only evidence I've seen is how much they don't work. Even Andrew Weil, MD (a prominent naturalist physician) thinks they're bogus. I believe there is a benefit for some naturalist approaches, but this isn't one. Good luck! ...Read more

Overall health: If you focus on overall health via what you eat, general conditioning, stress management, you will likely get a better outcome than by focusing on one aspect of who you are. Embrace who you are and if others don't like it, it's their loss. Peace and good health. ...Read more
