Pinworm: Treatment is 2 doses: day 1 and repeat after 1 week. Adult female worm lays eggs on perianal skin at night, this causes itching. Probably not pinworm: Pinworm is almost exclusively found among children ; those associated with them. Pruritus ani is due to fecal soiling. Use a skin lotion such as aveeno (oatmeal) or eucerin on kleenex or bathroom paper to clean the anal skin. Clean inside the anal area.
