Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without examining you and your symptoms warrant evaluation by a physician. If the lesion has been there for 4 years, it is not likely to be a common wart. Please see a doctor and among other things get HPV vaccine. ...Read more

I have skin growths on my forehead. Not sure if they're flat warts. They're reproducing rapidly and are not too noticeable! Is thuja okay for remedy?

Don't use it: Warts almost never involve the skin of the forehead or face. Whatever the cause, "thuja" or other natural remedies won't help, and for sure won't help warts. Stop guessing and don't try magical treatments. See a doctor. ...Read more

Going to get a wart removed at the doctor's this month and i'd like to know what to expect. How badly does it hurt?

What body part?: If it's on the bottom of the foot, the worst part is the injection to numb the area. That really hurts, but only for a short while. After the surgery most people tell me they just take otc meds for discomfort. It's more uncomfortable than painful. This may be different for other parts of the body though! good luck. ...Read more

Doctors : Doctors are typically under contract to provide services at a set cost so it is difficult to tell you cost. My guess it would be $200 dollars or so and might take more than one visit to treat them. I would call and ask your local dermatologist. Liquid nitrogen therapy in the office can be very helpful. Otc options aren't usually all that effective unfortunately. Perhaps consider filing each night, applying an otc salicylic acid, and then occluding with duct tape. That can help in some cases and might be worth a try. ...Read more
