Wives' tales: To my knowledge, there's nothing save for hormones that can provoke a period. If vitamin c and warm baths provoked period, we would likely use that over hormones, like progesterone. If you want greater control over your period, best is to take a birth control pill. With that you can skip a period by taking the last week of placebo pills. Best of luck! ...Read more

Depends: It may need to be drained. He may need to take antibiotics, or both. Did a doctor see the boil, or is that your diagnosis? One problem - you can come out of the tub with prune- like skin. Also, prolonged heat in a soaker is not healthy during pregnancy.
