See your MD: A holter monitor will address if your previously mentioned. Healthtap is no substitute for your physician as you need potential treatment once your diagnosis has firmly been established. Please don't hesitate.
Hypovolemia: Mosr common cause would be mild dehydration but if adequate does solve this issue please see your physician for a more in depth evaluation.

Heart racing: Are you otherwise healthy? Do you drink too much caffeine? Perhaps you are missing your husband's "affection" at that time of the morning...

Very frustrating: Anxiety disorders are often quite varied and can respond to medications and counseling. Sometimes it can take a while to find the best medications. If cardiac symptoms are present they should be checked out, although uncommon at your age. Go over your history and symptoms with your medical provider and if you do not get improvement consider seeing a specialist such as a psychiatrist. Good Luck!

Waking up short of breath, sweating and heart racing or beating slow/hard. Also constant tachy. Doc just says stress but I know there's something wrong?
Panic attacks: I assume your cardiac workup is negative? Panic disorder can cause such attacks in sleep as well as daytime, but some have them more at night. It is more than "stress" alone because the episodes may seem to come out of the blue, with no clear trigger. There is still good treatment with a combination of medications and psychotherapy. http://tinyurl. Com/32guos.
Waking up with arrhythmia/heart racing / sweating. Could it be sleep apnea? If so what can I do to fix it without a sleep study? I'm only 23
Sleep apnea: If you are overweight, losing weight not only reduces pressure on the airways, the tongue shrinks in size, further opening the airway. Don't sleep on your back (sew a pocket in a t-shirt and put a tennis ball in it). See an ENT to make sure that there isn't a problem with deviated septum, tonsils or adenoids. Use breathe rite strips. See a dentist to have a custom sleep device made.See 1 more doctor answer
I wake up iin the middle of the night heart racing and dry mouth. I drink plenty thru out the day why is thiis happening to me?
IT HAS LIKELY: Dehydrated you or your heart's electrical conduction system is sensitive. Either way, cut down on booze and extra hydrate please.
Anxiety: Dream, or true cardiac arrthmia are possible, talk to your doc.
Is it possible that I could be activating my POTS through anxious nightmares where I am running away? This would explain why I am so tired the next morn. I don't think I have sleep apnea. I wake up in the middle of the night with heart racing.
On a night whilst resting I get fast rapid heart racing and only seems to be at his worst at night time. Why could this be!?
Could be PAF: Paroxysmal atrial fibrillation (paf) is seen in some young persons, especially athletes, after alcohol consumption. It typically occurs late in the evening, at rest or during sleep, but not with exertion. If it fits this pattern, it's called "vagal atrial fibrillation" because it's due to increased activity of the vagus nerve. It is quite benign and usually self terminating. U need a heart monitor.See 1 more doctor answer
