Hi odds life issues: being rehashed while asleep inducing sadness, tearing. Ditto for the headaches, though likely somewhat different feelings. I would see a doctor: Waking up drained, unsteady & in pain and with a headache can be from several causes. One that I see frequently in my practice is nocturnal seizures. Not normal: Congestion at night is not uncommon but if people experience significant pressure then it becomes more concerning. Headaches at night can be sinus related or it even be a sign of significant sleep apnea (but that is more consistent with morning headaches).
