Is Vyvanse effected by urine alkalinity?

Excretion is

The percent of dose excreted as unchanged drug varies greatly depending upon urinary pH and urine flow. At low pH as much as 70% of the dose may be excreted as amphetamine in 24 h, whereas as little as 1% may be excreted within 24 h at alkaline pH (J. Pharm. Pharmacol. 21:241-258 (1969)

Could you dissolve vyvanse into clean urine to make it test positive?

No

Urine
The way vyvanse works it needs to be metabolized to 'turn into ' an amphetamine. So not somethig that would happen in urine.

Will taking one vyvanse show up on a urine screen the next day?

Likely

Screening
The excretion is dependent on the ph of urine and may take two or tree days to be completely gone. It will show up under the amphetamine category. Concern about a positive screen can be handled by providing testing entity with a copy of the prescription bottle which will have all of the identifying demographic information on it. Having a prescribed drug show up as expected should not be issue.

Will 30mg vyvanse still be in my urine after 60+ hours if my metabolism is super fast and I'm skinny with little body fat?

Probably not

Body
Vyvanse tends to have a clinical effect that lasts around twelve hours. If you triple that to thirty six hours, it should in all likelihood be gone from your system. As a physician, I cannot guarantee this, and if your job or some other legal concern is prompting this, keep in mind that this is general medical information based on my practice and my patients, and may not be correct for you.

Do you get protein in urine from vyvanse?

Not likely

Kidney
That is not a typical side effect from that medication. Proteinuria can have a wide range of causes and some are more serious than others. A full workup will likely provide the answer and should be done to rule out more serious causes. If there is decreased kidney function the dose of vyvanse will need to be decreased.

it will take 3-5 days before it gets out of your body. But to be on the safe side, you have to wait another 3-5 days before you really want to make sure you dont get positive on drug test.
