It's ok to take coq-10 w everything I take right? Levothyroxine atenolol hctz Lexapro (escitalopram) Suboxone Vyvanse klonopin & ester-c?
Right: While there are potential interactions between a few of your medicines, the coq10 should not interact with lexapro, (escitalopram) suboxone, atenolol, hctz, klonopin, levothyroxin, and vyvanse. With hypertension and hyperlipidemia, you might want to consider a regular regimen of low-impact exercise (walking in the sunshine) and eating mostly foods with a low glycemic index. ...Read more

Is it ok to have a couple glasses of wine bc I take a tiny bit of Suboxone each day, levothyroxine, atenolol, hctz, lexapro, (escitalopram) vyvanse, klonopin?
Alcohol not helpful.: It has been my experience that antidepressant medication does not work well, if at all, in the presence of alcohol. Also, as I see it, a combination of alcohol and Klonopin (clonazepam) is always contraindicated due the same brain receptors being affected and due to the high potential for addiction to both, especially when there is a personal or family history of alcohol abuse. ...Read more

Does klonopin have an interaction with Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) or do they counteract one another?
Hmm: Both very addictive medications. One is an upper (vyvanse) and the other is a downer - so yes, in a sense they oppose each other. I typically don't promote use of stimulants for people with "nervousness" or anxiety. but its hard to second guess your medications without knowing your history. That said, I almost never prescribe both at the same time. ...Read more
Hello, I am curious as to whether taking a. 5mg klonopin one day at 5:30 pm, and then taking my vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) the following morning at 8am is ok. I take vy?
I'm on Klonopin and adderal and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) to treat dpdr. My effects aren't changing and the meds seem to negate themselves. I need to open up a dialogue!
You're right!: Have a good dialogue w/ the doctor (s) who prescribed - your feedback should guide adjustments and a referral for CBT therapy. It optimizes outcome w/ or w/out meds. You sound like a great candidate for learning how to manage your life w/ some coaching and support. Be hopeful and firm toward meeting your needs. Best! ...Read more
I have ADHD and a panic disorder. I take Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) 50mg daily and recently started taking Klonopin. 5mg PRN. Will this combo affect my ability to focus?
Feel my legs are shaking why? Haven't taken vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) in a while or klonopin recently. Also feeling like I cant stop moving when standing. Siting im fine.
Benzo Withdrawl: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) and Klonopin directly oppose one another by the very nature of their mechanism of action. However, you are most likely experiencing benzodiazepine withdrawls from Klonopin. This can be dangerous and even fatal, leading to seizure activity and loss of consciousness. What was your dose of Klonopin? How long were you taking it? Was it used regularly or as needed? When was your last pill ...Read more

No: The dosages you listed are within the "usual" parameters for the drugs listed. Each patient is an individual and the dose is chosen on many factors including diagnoses being treated, age, body weight, prior exposure to medications... Can a blood drug test determine how much of my. Kolonopin and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) I've taken all month long or is there a.detection period? Why not do a urine test
Yes: If you are taking your medicine on a consistent basis, a Steady State Serum or Blood test should provide a pretty good indication of your adherence to directions. Urine Drug testing only gives a qualitative indication of your medication taking history-in other words-yes you are taking or no you're not taking it. The blood level is an instant snapshot of your blood level so it is difficult to fool. ...Read more
How. Far back can. Kolonopin and. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) be. Detected in a blood. Drug test. Can. The levels be detected and y doesn't my. Doctor just do a urine. Test?
Depends: On the sensitivity of the test. Honesty is the best policy, though. So if you're prescribed these meds, it's most likely u're doc wants to b sure you actually are taking them. If not, best to disclose that you've been using them. Your doc can't treat you safely with other meds if a/he doesn't know all the medications you are taking. ...Read more
I am on celexa, latuda, (lurasidone) vyvance, and kolonopin but I still feel like I'm on an emotional coaster. Along with bad back pain. What do I do?
Second Opinion: I know nothing about you, but. I am concerned with your medication regimen. First, I wouldn't change it on your own. Both Klonopin and Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) are potentially addictive. I do not prescribe these medications for most people with. Bipolar Disorder as they can worsen the symptoms. They can also work in "cross purposes, " like an Upper and a Downer at the same time. If you were my pt, I'd start over. ...Read more

Klonopin (clonazepam) addiction: Good question. For vulnerable people, the pleasurable sensations that make addictive drugs disastrously attractive occur when Dopamine levels in the brain’s reward area surge abruptly. Usually there are neurons in the brain that inhibit this result, by downregulating dopamine-producing neurons. Benzos like Klonopin (clonazepam) inhibit these "inhibitory" neurons -- taking the brakes off the Dopamine surge. ...Read more
Need details!: Low for one high for another--and people can develop dependency, requiring and tolerating higher and higher doses that seem "low".
