Vomiting With No Fever In A Sleeping 2 Year Old Maybe Something He Ate
Likely viral: Usually these things are viral and are short-lived and self-limited, meaning they go away spontaneously. They are highly contagious so strict hand-washing is in order. Dehydration is the main threat so push fluids even if he/she doesn't want to eat. Big concerns are fever over 100.6; or complaints of pain. Intermittent cramps are expected but if there is progressing unrelenting pain seek help. ...Read more
Should i take my two year old to the doc if he has yellowish green snot? No fever, and he has been sleeping through the night, occasional dry cough
Cough: The most common diagnosis, given the symptoms you describe, is a viral illness. These often make a child uncomfortable, but are ultimately harmless. However, if the symptoms persist for more than a few days, even if he is comfortable, it's worth a look by your doctor. Additionally, if anything else changes (ie: fever, decreased appetite, irritability, unable to sleep at night), have him checked. ...Read more

My 2 year old has fever that comes and goes. The feverlasts for an hour. During that time, she just wants to sleep. After that, she acts normal with no vomit etc. What can bethe cause? Can it be anything serious?
None well studied.: I don't know of any "natural anti-fungals" to combat valley fever. If you have a good immune system and it's not disseminated valley fever, then most people heal up well on their own. The things you can do to get better quicker are: don't drink alcohol or smoke, get plenty of rest, lower your stress levels (lots of positive thoughts), and have close follow up with your doctor. Best of luck. ...Read moreSee 3 more doctor answers

My 2 year old woke up vomiting foamy white saliva. She has no fever or diahrea but won't eat or drink?
Could be seizure: sounds like possible seizure after a fever;sometimes if a fever it can happen , but maybe just a cold/cough but the white foamy saliva is different , if any wheezing or cough go to er for further test like a chest X-ray. she may have inhaled a food particle and trying to cough it up . or may have bronchitis, . Sounds like you need to get her evaluated in an er, especially if trouble breathing ...Read more
My 2 year old vomited last night 5 times with no fever, no vomiting since but she now has a fever between 100 & 101f. Is this food poisoning or flu?
Fever and vomiting: Some food poisoning does have fever associated with it. The time of onset of symptoms and history of other people who had the same food getting simialr symptoms can help. 2 year old has rash on legs, can't sleep. can he take benydrel. it says 2 years consult with doc. no fever, can i use it?
It's best to use it : under the direction of your child's pediatrician for a 2-year old. It's calculated at 5mg/kg/24 hours divided into 4 doses, but some young children actually become agitated on an appropriate dose, others very sleepy. If your toddler has severe eczema or neurodermatitis, it's best to see his pediatrician for long-term management &/or referral to a pediatric dermatologist. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My son which is 2 years old and I have had diahhrea for 6 days and vomitting only off and on usually when we eat we also have runny noses and no fever?
Sounds like virus: Sounds like a viral "enteritis" - basically a "stomach flu". Viral gastrointestinal infections can not only be tedious to get through, they can also be quite serious in a small child. With symptoms of that duration in a 2 y/o you may need to get reassurance from a pediatrician or urgent care doctor that he/she is staying hydrated enough (as 2 y/o's don't have much reserve). Hope this helps! ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
2 year old threw up once 2.5 hrs ago, no fever, acting normal, egg and cheese this morn. Has had had pretzels since he threw up and fine. Sick?
Fatty meal : There could be a few reasons why a 2 year would vomit after a meal . He is likely not digesting a fatty meal if he is getting sick , has upper respiratory problems with excess mucus ,constipated or has indigestion . It is best to offer him more fluids and carbohydrates in the form of pretzels , crackers , toast or applesauce . If symptoms persist or vomit is green then see a Doctor immediately. ...Read more

I gave my 2 yr old beans this afternoon he vomit them later at night just once he's fine no fever he's eating normal , what caused him to vomit ?
Bad beans?: I'm glad he's doing well after vomiting. He may have had a bad batch of beans, and his body decided to get rid of it fast. As long as he is eating and drinking normally, and he is acting himself, there should be nothing more to worry about. Sometimes stress and changes can cause kids to vomit, but it doesn't seem to be the case. If he continues and/or starts to feel sick, go see his pediatrician! ...Read more

Vomiting;toddlers: There may be a stomach flu or something that he caught. If he is better now, don't worry. If he is still throwing up u should consult ur pediatrician. Also, u should feed him smaller amount b4 he goes2bed if the vomiting persists.
