Crying for help here! Chronic vomitting/nausea going on for entire summer. What can I do?

Med eval: Hello. Don't know gender or age. Chronic nausea and vomiting warrants medical evaluation. In the meantime a simple way to reduce nausea is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger & steep at least 5 min in a covered pot. Sip. Aromatherapy: sweet orange (citrus sinensis). Read more

Vomiting, nausea, low fever for three days and cannot keep food down.

3 days too long: 3 days is too long to be vomiting - you need to see your doc tomorrow, or if there is an urgent care center by you tonight. If you have significant abdominal pain of what you are throwing up is bright yellow or green, then you need the er tonight. Most stomach flus you only vomit 12-24 hours - once past that is unusual for stomach virus, and at three days, you certainly need further evaluation. Read more

I'm almost 11 weeks. I have a severe migraine followed by lots of vomitting nausea and a fever. I also feel really weak. Is my baby ok?

With the exception: Of fever, all other symptoms can be attributed to pregnancy. But fever is not normal in the first trimester, so you may have a viral or bacterial infection just like anyone else can. Monitor your symptoms closely, and if they worsen and you cannot keep fluids down, head to the doctor's office or emergency room to get help for you and make sure baby is ok. Can food sensitivities, specifically lactose and chicken eggs, cause any change in liver enzymes? ALT up vomit nausea every time I eat eggs! Thanks

If only the ALT is slightly elevated and others are normal probably nothing to worry about.
If eggs cause nausea/vomiting I would simply avoid consumption. Read more
