My 4yr old had fever, chills, vomiting. The fever went away now her throat hurts and she had blisters. What can I give her?
Motrin or Tylenol (acetaminophen): Sounds like it may be herpangina. Most often caused by the hand, foot and mouth virus. Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Motrin can be used for pain. In severe cases with multiple sores dehydration can become a problem. Avoid acidic foods and juices for a few days as this may be irritating to the open sores at the back of the throat. If the abdominal pain, vomiting and fever persist see your pediatrician.See 1 more doctor answer
No reason to wait-: Though most symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection are caused by viruses, there is no reason for you to wait and have your doctor check you out for a strept infection. Just don't go the appointment expecting to get an antibiotic each time you suspect you need it- otherwise, you will end up with a multidrug resistant bacterial infection.
Sleeping a lot have eaten but now can't stop vomiting. No fever, chills, or flu symptoms. Scared and thinking may have a serious issue. ER or no?
I would if I were U: The vomiting reflex is controlled by two units in the brain medulla--one receives nerve impulses from the GI tract, the other is a chemical receptor. Both have nerve connections to not only the GI tract (pharynx, mesenteric vessels, bile ducts) but also from brain corticobulbar areas that mediate smells, sights, &taste. Thus, vomiting apparatus responds to a variety of GI & brain inputs.

Many reasons: Consult with you family physician. Don't delay!
Was sick after action to Mexico (vomiting, diarrhea, chills, fever) and still have only diarrhea 3 weeks later, no solid passing of foods. Frustrated!
Get stool checked: Most cases of traveler's diarrhea clear up quickly after return. If you are still having symptoms after 3 weeks, there may be a more serious problem, or one that needs treatment. A stool analysis and culture, and a check for parasites (ameba) may be in order to identify the cause. A short course of antibiotics may also be worth it if you haven't had any yet.

Sounds infectious: Your symptoms sound consistent with some type of infection which may involve the urinary tract or may involve other structures in the pelvis.
