I'm 18.I just had two heavy session of drinking alcohol in my life. D both tims I vomited blood. Doctor said gastrits. Can this lead to chronic erosive?
One night I was drinking alcohol and the next morning I threw up I and I saw blood what could be the cause of that?
Couple possibliities: You may just have some gastritis, or even some peptic ulcer disease. But, if your emesis was violent, you may have torn the distal esophagus' inner lining, called a mallory-weiss tear. This will be self limited. If it continues, see your doctor, and take it easy on the etoh for awhile. Good luck. ...Read more
Yesterday was the first time for me to drink, I woke up vomiting and the last couple times I've been vomiting blood, I feel cold and dizzy what to do?
I am vomiting blood after a night of semi heavy drinking, just beer. Is it serious? Should I seek emergency care? I am not usually a heavy drinker, in fact it has been a while. No pain, other than a little nausea (possibly from drinking) I feel fine.
I am still vomiting 2 days after drinking alcohol. Is this just a bad hangover or something more serious?
Vomiting: It is not the norm. I would seek medical attention at urgent care/ doctor as you have to make sure you can hold down fluids otherwise you dehydrate which also causes vomiting. Also excessive vomiting can damage your esophagus and cause electrolyte abnormalities. You likely need IV fluids because you are dehydrated and need electrolyte replenishment. Seek medical attention today. ...Read more

I'm sorry about him: It's impossible to stop someone from drinking, but this may be something else -- anything from thyroid disease to depression to the onset of major mental illness / catatonia. Blood clots in the legs aren't the principal concern. Ask his physician about whether he might be admitted for evaluation. Be strong and I will be thinking of you in the days ahead. ...Read more
If someone was drinking alcohol every other day over limit, would liver blood tests usually be abnormal if some sort of damage is occurring?
Over limit??: Which limit is that. The safe limit for drinking in men is no more than 2 standard drinks (2 12 oz. Beers, 2 5 oz. Wineglasses of standard wine, 3 oz 80 proof spirits) per day, no more than 14 per week, and no more than 4 on any one occasion. Even at that level, some people will get liver inflammation.
