Crying for help here! Chronic vomitting/nausea going on for entire summer. What can I do?

Med eval: Hello. Don't know gender or age. Chronic nausea and vomiting warrants medical evaluation. In the meantime a simple way to reduce nausea is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger & steep at least 5 min in a covered pot. Sip. Aromatherapy: sweet orange (citrus sinensis).

Get seen: This could be a variety of things like appendicitis, PID, ovarian torsion that no one can diagnose without an examination, blood work and likely either an ultrasound or CT scan.

Migraine constantly on n off for 3 months till I vomit n can't move without crying... Causes?

Migraine constantly on n off for 3 months till I vomit n can't move without crying... Causes?

Many Causes: Migraines-the most common is nerve compression coming from the supraorbital, trigeminal, or greater occipital nerve. You can tell by getting a nerve block in these areas. Imaging studies can rule out brain (tumors), sinus, cervical neck problems (herniated disc), other causes (less common): TMJ problems, sinus infections, trauma, brain, aneurysms. Lump in groin? - get that checked out!

Possible appendiciti: You need to go to an emergency room right now. The places you describe without vomiting are very concerning for problems with her appendix. Sign off and go to the nearest ER NOW!!

Should be OK: May have eaten something which disagreed with them. If they are now ok, watch closely. If they develop any other symptoms, particularly changes in responsiveness, feeding, irritability, fever or anything unusual, see your doctor. If remains normal, relax.

Talk to surgeon: Any change during the post-op period should be taken seriously. Have the surgeon on call paged to discuss with them what you are noticing or have her seen in a local ER to ensure that she is okay. Best wishes.

Your pediatrician...: Is going to be the best person to interact with because there is too much information missing for us to give meaningful advice. How old is your baby? How often are you changing formula? How well is the baby growing? Is it possible you are overfeeding the child? Are you burping the baby frequently (after each ounce)? Do you keep the baby comfortably upright for at least 30 minutes after each feed?

If you have: A toddler with 3 days of severe abdominal pain and distention as well as diarrhea and vomiting, I would consult your pediatrician right away. Even if the problem isn't severe, he may need some hydration.

Closed Head Injuries: Closed head injuries in children are relatively common due to their activity level and altered center of gravity. Most serious head injuries are associated with loss of consciousness, seizure and immediate vomiting. Serious injuries rarely become apparent within 24-48 hours after the injury and are associated with multiple episodes of vomiting, altered mental status, seizures, etc,

It: It sounds like you are suffering from ptsd (post traumatic stress disorder) the traumatic event being your husband abusing you. This is very common as a result of domestic violence situations such as yours. My recommendation for you is to seek the care of a medical professional right away. You need intensive counseling as well as screening for depression and anxiety. You may need drug therapy in addition to counseling. If you feel like hurting yourself and/or make a plan to hurt yourself or someone else call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. I hope you find help soon.

Can crying trigger asthma attacks in asthmatic infants? My 7mo doesn't sleep on her own and I fear CIO methods due to vomiting and wheezing.

Can crying trigger asthma attacks in asthmatic infants? My 7mo doesn't sleep on her own and I fear CIO methods due to vomiting and wheezing.

Controller med: Your baby does need to be seen by a specialist. Wheezing at this age may be due to a number of conditions. Crying and increased respiratory effort may be the result of the asthma. If the baby wheezes often, a controller medication such as pulmicort nebulized solution is used. This is an aerosol form of a steroid. Virtual consultation available via HealthTap.

Medication reaction? Extremely high bp with crying. Strong pulses in head that made me cough and have dry heaves. Vomit 3rd. Started lamictal ystrday

Possible!: Up to 20% of people can can have nausea &vomiting and that alone could cause the high blood pressure as part of the stress reaction. I don't know if you took your blood pressure, but symptoms of headache or migraine may also occur. Although it can happen high BP itself is very uncommon, though. Call prescribing doc immed. Try 1/2 strength Gatoraide. If not able to take fluid go to ER.
