There are many ways to determine if a person is overweight, but experts believe that a person's body mass index (BMI) is the best way to assess an adult's weight in relation to their height. * A BMI between 18.5 and 24.9 is considered normal. * Adults with a BMI between 25 and 29.9 are considered overweight. Probably not: 1.3k calories is a tiny amount. For a small woman in the low 100's, who is not lactating, 1.3k calories is probably ok, if not a little low, but certainly not for your weight/ height and situation. You'd be best to consult with a nutritionist, and get a good target daily calorie count, and a diet that you like and can adhere to. Something interesting. ...Read more

Usually with obesity, vitamin D tends to be low, because it depots in adipose or fat cells. And this may require you taking higher amounts that your PCP will recommend for you to take. Your adrenals may be producing a lower a.m. cortisol which is exhibited by fatigue. So this should be investigated further. ...Read more
