Swelling is the enlargement of organs, skin, or other body parts. It is caused by a buildup of fluid in the tissues. Doctor prescribe chymoral forte, fursultiamine compound, vitamin B1+B6+B12 for thigh swelling 1 month x ray of hip joint and lumbar clear. Effectivens?
Not sure.: As you are far away in a different country, & since practices vary by region, it's hard to guide you. I am not certain of your diagnosis. Chymoral Forte, to my knowledge, is chymotrypsin & trypsin, which are digestive enzymes. Unless there is some nutritional issue leading to swelling (protein deficiency?), I am not sure how the thiamine & vitamin supplements will help. Consider HealthTap Prime. ...Read more

Ankles been swelling almost everyday. Could I be retaining to much water or to much weight? Should I be taking vitamins? 38yrs old 5/5in 200lbs
Check with your doc:
Ankle swelling may be from another problem such as heart, lung, kidney and others. Edema is too much fluid in your body. Vitamins have not much to do with it, as long as you have a mixed diet. There is no need to spend your $$$ on vitamins.
Check with your doc to be safe. ...Read more

No not a reason for facial swelling
Quite low levels very low are common, significance is unclear.
"Correct" level of vitamin D are quite arbitrary - usually given as 30 but as low as 15 may be fine. Some recent studies also suggest higher levels may even be harmful. I would check your calcium and parathyroid hormone levels (PTH) as elevated levels usualy reflect Vit D deficiency. ...Read more
No, absolutely not: Vit d deficiency can lead to osteoporosis since vit d is needed to absorb calcium from your diet. However, too much vit d can be harmful since it is stored in fatty tissue and can build up over time (not just urinated out like many other vitamins taken in excess quantities). If you have arthritis, be sure to see a board certified rheumatologist for treatment--don't rely on vitamin supplements. ...Read more

Painful hepatomegaly: When the liver inflames, it distends the covering of the liver called the capsule this capsule is invested with nerves that transmit pain when stretched by the enclosed but enlarging liver. One site where I injected vitamin B12 is bruised, no swelling. It hurts a little. Will it go away or should I have it checked? Used sterile needle.
No problem: Bruise will clear.Get a more detailed answer ›
Reported but rare:
I've given B12 shots to hundreds of patients and have never seen this happen so I was going to say no, but in researching this some sites list "feeling of swelling of the entire body" and "swelling of the ankles or feet" as possible side effects. This is very rare.

My face got swollen after takin vitamin D3 supplement 50000 iu. Then my doctor prescribed alerfin to treat the swelling. Any recommendations pls.
Alerfin is a steroid brand name not sold in usa but generic is Betamethasone
it seems highly unlikely that vit d at 5000 iu/day would cause this problem / perhaps it could be an allergy to some component of the vitamin pill or capsule
occasionally soy oil as a carrier could cause this. ...Read more
5 days with black and blue eye. Saw er doc on day 3-4. Does vitamin c help heal faster? Make color/swelling go away faster?
Yes, along with...: While I'm unaware of formal research, Vitamin C with bioflavonoids is widely considered to help bruises heal faster. You should also eat fruits, esp. Blueberries and other berries. I also highly recommend Arnica as a cream, as well as internally as homeopathic Arnica 12c 2-3 pellets 2-3x/day (available at health food stores). For more ideas see http://www. Organicnutrition. My vitamin d level is 12. My face is bloated since a few years. My thryoid, creatinine, cortisol etc are fine. Is the swelling due to my deficiency? I
One way to find out:
Low Vit. D causes many imbalances.
Face bloating isn't a classic symptom of low D, but it's possible it's connected. Whether it is or not, it's important to correct this for your overall health. When your D levels normalize you will see if your bloating improves. Most adults need 5-8000 iu of D3/day. Aim for levels of 50-80.

I got a 5 day old black eye. Saw er doc on day 3-4. Still blue and black looking and a bit swelling. Does taking vitamin c good to heal faster?
Not especially: Drinking a glass of orange juice daily and keeping up your fruit intake is enough vitamin c. Since it is a water soluble vitamin, your body will excrete any excess. I am not aware of any data supporting mega vitamin c for this kind of wound healing. May get a little worse before it fully resolves and go through purple to brown to yellow stages. Best of luck! ...Read more

Had a growth removed on leg and bleeding from it. Is it ok to take vitamin E because I take a multi vitamin?
Yes: According to the national institutes of health the recommended maximum intake of vitamin e is 1500 iu/day, though I seldom advise more than 800 iu/day. Most multivitamins contain only 30 iu of e though some have up to 400 iu. Hi. My question is...will b12 vitamins help regain sensation back to my legs after also having a shot which can I take liquid or regular tablets?
Sublingual B 12: For convenience, sublingual b 12 is the best choice. Oral b 12 has to travel through the GI system and most of it is destroyed. I am having very weird feeling in my entire body. Legs feel as if they are being pulled inside the earth. I am vitamin d deficient. What's the cause?
Uncertain: I am unaware of any vitamins that are as potent as meds such as aspirin, Coumadin (warfarin) or plavix. However, there is data showing that supplements such as fish oil, vitamin e, and vitamin c have some blood thinning properties. Regardless, addressing the reason for blood clots in the legs is very important. Dealing with weight, immobility, and inflammation in the blood vessels is crucial for prevention. ...Read more

My dad started taking prenatal vitamins and he started with white spots on his legs how bad can it be?
Unrelated, not very: Prenatal vitamins are perfectly harmless for your father to take. I don't know any way they could cause anyone to get white spots so it's a coincidence. I can't say for sure how bad it is as I can't be sure what it is, but it might be vitiligo, an autoimmune condition that is not particularly serious other than being a cosmetic issue, or might be a fungal infection. I've been low in vitamin d for months and I've just noticed a curve in my legs, it might me be being paranoid but is this possible at the age of 17?
Yes, ? rickets:
A curve in your leg bones could be a sign of rickets, caused by Vit D deficiency:
https://en. Wikipedia. Org/wiki/Rickets
I wonder why you have been low for months.
I advise 10, 000 iu of D3/day to get your levels up, though you may take 40, 000 iu/day for a month to raise more quickly. I would also advise a least 1000 mcg/day of Vit K2 and calcium, magnesium and boron.

Peripheral neuropathy is a side effect of R-Cinex. Gabapentin/lyrica may improve or lessen the pain. Would also check B12/folate electrolyte (potassium, magnesium, calcium) level as low B12 may exacerbate the pain as may alcohol and heavy metal like arsenic/ lead and disease like diabetes, HTN.
