No; try lemon balm: Prenatal vitamins may boost you immune system and thus help prevent oral herpes outbreaks, but won't do much to help one heal; though for a man you might want to try a stronger multivitamin. The best remedy i know of for cold sores is topical melissa cream, also known as lemon balm .
