Vitamins B1 B6 B12 Adverse Effects
I want to know about vitamins and minerals that can help me to counter the adverse effects (diabetes risk) of aripiprazole 15 mg. I'm doing excercise
Without a deficiency: There may be little benefit if you are not deficient. B6 has a toxicity state. Its one of the few water soluable vitamins that does. B12 deficiency often requires replacement bypass the GI tract (sublingual and intramuscular) as the problem generally is not an intake deficiency but rather a loss of ability to absorb it. Thiamine is rarely deficient: one has to be really malnourished. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Can a dr.Or can you purchase vitamin b12-and B6 in injectable form for losing weight, and how or were can I do this?
I am taking 1 vitamin tablet per day, containing b1, B6 and B12 for telogen effluvium. Is it harmful as I have ckd?
Listen to your body: Generally water soluble vitamins are safe if not given in excess dose. There is no evidence that vitamins help telogen effluveum. Take steps to improve your over-all health and especially your kidneys. See the book coping with kidney disease by mackensie walser. ...Read more
Yes: But please remember that there are a great many non caloric nutrients in natural food. You can't pick out one two and give them priority. ...Read more
Is it healthy to mix both vitamin B12 and B6 and inject the mixture with a syringe right into the butt?
Yes, but: I notice, you are 26 years old. Normally you wouldn't be a candidate for that. That would be very helpful for elderly, who do not absorb well the nutrients from the food or for other folks with certain problems. Best, Siranush Cholakian MD ...Read more
Frequent heahaches, some lasts for days, pills don't work, I also have severe vitamin D b6 b12 deficiencies, took vitamin pills/inection nothing worked?
Not vitamins: You need to be under the care of a competent neurologist who can first rule out organic disease using history, physical, labs and imaging. It's a shame to have normal pressure hydrocephalus, chronic subdural hematoma, meningeal tuberculosis, lues, or a tumor written off as a "vitamin deficiency" -- that's not how real vitamin deficiencies present. Get with somebody who knows their stuff. ...Read more
Hi drs.....What are the signs that indicate some one has B12 deficiency ?Do vitamin b1+b6+b12 deficiency have the same signs as B12 deficiency ?
Get checked: Glad you asked. B1 deficiency is rare in people on a diet anywhere close to normal, and b6 deficiency is even less familiar to medicine. B12 deficiency, by contrast, is famously subtle. It is likely to be relatively low in your diet if you're a vegetarian, and several common illnesses prevent its being absorbed through the gut. Simply feeling unwell or slowed mentally precedes the numb fingers. ...Read more
How does one go about lowering a high level of vitamin B12 of 1000? It has been that high since 2010. My B6 is also high - 33.4.
Comments: Am not personally troubled when my patients' B-12 comes back elevated, as it is truly unlikely that there will be any problem in near or distant future, but do have them stop the vitamin and recheck in 3 months. Although B-6 can be toxic in some patients, this too will drop over time if you stop it. Your level is not profoundly elevated, currently. ...Read more
No effect expected: Shots of vitamins b6, b12, or other vitamins should not have an effect on one's weight. The only way for a normal, overweight person to lose weight is to eat fewer calories than he uses up each day. His body will burn up fat to get the additional needed calories that he himself is not eating. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Is vitamin b6 the same as b12. I have high colesteral and need to loose 20 lbs. Will vitamin b help with my issues?
I'm taking a supplement called fertility blend (iherb), some prenatals, B6 and b12. Is this too much vitamins? Can it be harmful to take this much?
Vitamin A: Vitamin a is really the only vitamin that you can take too much of. No more than 5, 000 iu a day. Interesting, a lot of women when tested are vitamin d deficient, that's one you might want to take more of. The best way to get vitamins and minerals, though, is in your diet, so really working to have a balanced and healthy diet is much better than taking supplements. Good luck! ...Read more
