Fairly quickly: Vitamin d3 liquid drops are well-absorbed & should quickly get into your system. If you are deficient in d it may, however, take some time to bring your levels up to optimal levels. I feel most adults should take 4000-5000 units a day to achieve optimal vitamin d levels. If your level is low you could safely take 10, 000 units a day for a couple weeks to speed bringing your levels up. ...Read more

Started taking liquid vitamin D3, 4000 iu. My D level was at 12. Any concerns of this dose, I'm 50 and 5'2, 95lbs. Take it with a meal? Am or Pm
Dose ? a bit low,: but might eventually be adequate maintenance given build. There is no advantage & ? cost to being in liquid form (will end up in liquid after ingesting) or daily timing. It typically takes 2-3 months to see how dose ingested per wk has worked out & many OTC forms are low quality, not very effective. B-12 rarely useful unless pernicious anemia, http://goo.gl/hTgfHM. I'm low on vitamin D I'm taking Vitamin 3D liquid can I still take my chewable Kids multi vitamin which says has 400 IU in it on the back of bottle ?
Yes, ok: It appears liquid Vitamin D3 comes in different concentrations: one has 2000 IU vitamin D3/drop; another only 100 IU/drop,. I'm not sure how much liquid 3D you are taking. Unless you are quite deficient, the recommended daily allowance is 600 IU per day, so I would really keep your daily intake to not more 1000 IU per day total: the liquid plus the chewable. ...Read more
