Yes, also try mag.: While I don't know of any research on this, many people report Vit E helps & it's safe to try. While some studies have shown harm from E they used synthetic E. It's important to take natural E with mixed tocopherols. Don't take dl-alpha tocopherol! Reasonable to take: It is possible that your father would be in good shape without taking vit e but it is reasonable to start taking it.
