No better or worse: When it comes to multivitamins & mineral supplements, you don't need fancy labels & brands. Yes, there are claims re solubility etc but bottom line, there aren't even any studies showing clinical benefit from multivtamins. Not if mixed tocoph.: The hope study found that patients with ckd given 400 iu of vit e had somewhat increased risk of heart failure, but this study used Alpha tocopherol, which given alone can deplete gamma tocopherol, which can be detrimental. There are no studies showing harm of taking e as mixed tocopherols. Natural mixed e will likely work better combined with other antioxidants, as antioxidants work as a team. ...Read more
Not cause, but....: It's a really important deficiency to correct as well and soon as possible. here are links to depression reported and even to thought disorders, but all mental symptoms can overlap and if anxiety is a tendency for you, a D deficiency might contribute to you feel that way. There is very little evidence out there that surpassing rda will treat or prevent any disease.
