Yes: These are good choices. Some calcium & magnesium supps are much better absorbed than others- i like calcium citrate/hydroxyapatite & mag. Taurate/glycinate/citrate. Your dose of calcium & magnesium should be roughly equal. About 5000 units of d is good with 15 mg (not mcg) of vit k2. Consider strontium & boron. See www.Drdach.Com/wst_page6.Html. ...Read more

It depends: First of all, magnesium is a mineral, not a vitamin. Vitamins are not a substitute for a healthy diet but it is reasonable to take supplements for prevention. Most people don't need calcium supps- evidence suggests this increases risk of atherosclerosis! i don't advise red yeast rice for most. It's Okay: Yes, it is okay to take both vitamin C and vitamin D supplements. You should not take more than the recommended amounts listed on the packaging. Too much of either vitamin C or D may cause gastrointestinal discomfort. In some individuals, too much vitamin C is associated with kidney stones.
