How long will it take for b vitamins to start working and show effects?

B vitamins are among

Is it true that huge doses of vitamin B12 inhibit the levels of other B vitamins? (source:the web)

No

Medication
Someone writing on the internet can put out any silly fantasy and make money doing it, as they appear very learned and caring. This one's just not true. Unlike these people, the scientific physicians in our community and on HealthTap are bound by law to tell the truth.

Dr. Ed Friedlander answered:

Why does the doctor test for B12 and not other b vitamins? why is B12 more important than other vitamins?

Likely to be low

Vitamin_b12
There's one disease in particular that's quite common and several others somewhat less common in which vitamin B12 can't be absorbed. These illnesses are subtle, and these people are likely to get sick without knowing it. By contrast, someone with some other vitamin deficiency is either seriously sick already or is on a bizarre diet, so there's no need to screen healthy-looking folks.

I found severe vit d and moderate vit b12 deficiency few yrs ago when I was 24.is it likely that I have other b vitamins deficiency too?

B12 and vit.D def.

Vitamin_d
The two could not be related, meaning that not enough sun could be the cause of your vit D problem and the B12 can be from an unknown cause. It is true that they could be related but I doubt. If your blood count is good(CBC) and you feel well then I doubt you have a problem.
