No: It's good to supplement with B12 if you are a vegetarian, necessary is you are a strict vegetarian / vegan. Don't try to figure out why you have acne; simply manage it with topical benzoyl peroxide and/or retinoic acid, supplementing with your physician's Rx if needed, until it remits on its own. ...Read more

It depends on: if you have any nutritional deficiencies, reasons for a nutritionally incomplete diet or malabsorption syndromes. Remember if you don't have any defined nutritional deficiencies you are better off getting your micronutrients like the B vitamins from whole foods rather than from supplementation. Alternatively if all you have is a B12 deficiency then you should be fine with a B12 supplement. ...Read more
Depends: Different items work for different people, but many patients report a better sense of well being with a b complex vitamin, and with significant vitamin d. Depending on your latitude and sun exposure, you may or may not get enough vitamin d from sun. You could consider trying 3, 000 iu of vitamin d. Also there is some evidence to suggest that methyl folate also helps improve a person's mood. ...Read more
Is it essential to take a multi vitamin? I'm currently taking vit d3, magesium & executive b stress formula
Absolutelynot: The majority of studies show no. Enefits from taking multivitamins unless you are deficient! in which case you should first turn to food sources to address the deficiency. Don't buy into the hype about the value of these pills. There is little to no value, and potential harm in taking them. You definitely don't need them at your age and you are probably duplicating between the products you alread. ...Read more

Vitamin D was low 17nmol/l.I took vit D supplement 10,000 IU for 2month it become 156 nmol/l .should I take supplement always ?!or stop¡
Depends on sun exp.: 156 nmol/l = 62 ng/ml which is just where you want it (optimal levels are 50-80). But if you stop the levels will likely decline, so it seems wise to continue 10,000 iu/day. The only other way to get significant amounts of D is via exposure to mid-day sun without use of sun screen. If you don't get sun, then it is wise to continue supplementation. Probably excellent: If society is wise enough to provide the new hepatitis C treatment to everyone at a reasonable cost, getting rid of hepatitis C will probably benefit you greatly. You need to find out why you are iron deficient -- a workup by a competent physician is in order, checking for malabsorption, ulcer, hookworm, tumor, more. Once done this will help greatly. ...Read more
