Vistaril Suboxone Drug Interactions
No: Not in the same sense as you would think of street drugs or some prescription pain medicines. However, it *is* possible to develop a kind of chemical dependence on it, such that suddenly stopping it might provoke symptoms of withdrawal or a relapse into depression. While not all professionals agree, one way of avoiding that that some take is a slow dose taper during drug discontinuation. ...Read more

I have a very strong body odor. I am hiv+. I take suboxone, effexor, complera for hiv, vistaril, viibryd, (vilazodone hydrochloride) ambien. It is affecting the people around me?
MOM may be helpful.: Suboxone, effexor, and viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) can all be contributing to excessive sweating that is the usual cause of body odor when the sweat interacts with skin bacteria. It is my understanding that a daily bath followed by dabbing a small amount of milk of magnesia (mom) under arms and on other high sweat areas often significantly helps. If any of the medications are stopped, a supervised taper is required. ...Read more
Took 10mg lexapro (escitalopram) and a couple hours later took 25mg vistaril. Now I'm scared about drug interactions. I'm having an anxiety attack.
I want to take Claritin for allergies. I’m on Zoloft, Wellbutrin, vistaril (spelling), and trazodone. Any major drug interactions?
Hello I'm prescribed clonidine .01mg for bp and was wondering if any nasty drug interactions happen with Suboxone for withdrawal. Beside BP drop.
Could drug interactions with my meds being prescribed be really messing me up clonadine, atenelol,amlodopine,xanex,suboxone,omerperazole.. Help me pls?
Yes, indeed!: Did one physician prescribe all of these? If so - you need to consider another provider. If not, you need always to inform any one of them about other drugs you take. All have some risk with just about all of the others, but the worst is between Xanax (alprazolam) and Suboxone. Respiratory distress is possible even coma or death - so call your doctor(s) ASAP or go to ER or a good pharmacist w/ the bottles. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Individuals differ: Vistaril (hydroxyzine) is an antihistamine with mild sedating and anxiety-relieving effects. It doesn't work the same as a benzodiazepine (valium, Ativan etc), but then it's not addictive either. Some people get a lot of relief from vistaril (hydroxyzine) and similar meds; some don't. Talk to your doctor about what works for you and what doesn't. There may be other options to explore. ...Read more

I heard that taking 0.5mg daily of Suboxone is such a low dose that it is not detectable in urine drug tests. Is this true?
If I took 4mg of suboxone 48 hours ago, it's the only time I've ever taken it, will I still test positive for a drug test if I drink lots of liquids?
Suboxone: ViragZ ~ yes, if you get tested within 48 hours of taking that you will show positive. Drinking water only makes you pee more! The Half life of suboxone is anywhere from 3 - 37 hours which means it could be in the system after 5 days. You're probably safe at a week. If you took it sublinguinally that gives the best absorption and longer time to hang ! Dont mess with narcotics recreationally.! ...Read more
Unlikely: Firstly, very few people are drug testing for Buprenorphine unless for very specific reasons, and it will not show up on the usual opiate screens. Secondly, a single dose would be unlikely to still be at detection limits 2 weeks later even if they were testing for it, unless it was a very high dose and you have an unusually slow metabolism. ...Read more
