I put aside both Citalopram and Propranolol for 4 days but I had an evil days. My vision changed and I had nausea. How can I come off those medication?
Best way w/ Doc help: It's generally much better to wean these types of medication w/ medical supervision. But, it's not a perfect world. So, do it slowly and taper the Propranolol 1st. Cut mg dosage each 14days by the same step-down amount (i.e., 25%) until gone. If it's too fast, return to last week's dose and move on again. Only then, do the same w/ the SSRI. It will take time, but you'll be safe (and free!) Best. ...Read more

Can the medication topamax (topiramate) cause palinopsia? I'm on it for frequent migraines and have started noticing trailing in vision and sensitivity to light.

This medication, however excellent, has been known to cause significant eye problems that can be irreversible. Such things as narrow angle glaucoma can also occur. I would ask for the pressure in your eyes to be checked now and see your eye doctor ASAP. ...Read more

I have only double vision from last 7 weeks and taking medication as prednisolone that helped me to reduce the diplopia. Is this the symptoms of ms?
Double vision: Need to know if the double vision is monocular or binocular. Cover one eye. If the double vision goes away, then it is so called binocular diplopia. If you have double vision with only one eye open, then it suggests that the problem is in the eye itself, and not the brain. Cannot exclude ms as a cause, but start with a good examination and medical evaluation. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

YES: There are many different classes of eye medications that are typically used to treat glaucoma without surgery. Unfortunately, : Unfortunately, rheumatoid arthritis is an absolute contraindication for laser vision correction. In fact, anyone with an autoimmune condition, such as rheumatoid arthritis is not considered a candidate for laser vision correction at this time.
