PS: At the age of six I went through 5 glasses in 1 year. At age 71 I have worked to get contact lenses and ultimately only glasses. Don't argue with your eye specialist if he or she strongly wants you to wear glasses, not contacts.

Eczema: You need to keep irritants to a minimum. Use only sensitive skin products. No fragrance or dye. Find something to stop the itch, like Benadryl, (diphenhydramine) Claritin or Zyrtec. Eczema gets worse if it's constantly being scratched. Also try a bleach bath. 1 cup bleach, in a full tub of water. Try this weekly. If no improvement, have it rechecked. ...Read more

Not generally: The home products are for people to see if they (or family) members are using drugs and if it is showing up. They do not detect adulterants. However, the tests that employers and others use DO test for things like bleach and nitrates (visine) and they WILL be detected and result in failing the test. 2-3 hours: Bad thing about visine is that it will keep the red away by constriction blood vessels for a most a few hours, but then causes vasodilation which makes the eyes more red which makes you put more in--vicious cycle and not good for eyes.
