When I stretch my skin a bit a clearly visible web of veins appears from my hip to waist. This happens on both sides. I'm skinny. Vascular problem?

Veins showing: Veins are closer to your skin surface than arteries are. Maybe like like most young healthy women you are exercising and trying to keep your wt down. In doing that you may be burning some of your subcutaneous fat and so your veins become more prominent. Just a thought. See a dermatologist. ...Read more

Not likely: The size of the veins in parts of your body have much more to do with hydration status than anything else. If you are well hydrated, your veins will be full and "pop out" more. This is not a symptom associated with pregnancy. If you miss your next period and are concerned about pregnancy, get a pregnancy test. Hope this helps! ...Read more

Sometimes I get a swishing vibrating feeling in groin it pulses. My hip is hypermobile. Worried I'm pinching arteries or veins? Is it possible todo?
It's certainly: Possible to temporarily cut off circulation of the large arteries altho circulation returns ASA the pressure is released. Long saphenous vein blocked on left leg. Could this cause sciatica? Pain back of both legs, hips and right side groin. Worse right side
No.: Development of a clot of what was once called the long saphenous vein may cause discomfort, tenderness to touch, redness, or warmth over the length of the vein itself -- something called thrombophlebitis. This is a local issue, self-limited, and should not lead to discomfort in the other leg or the hips. If the clot extends near its junction with the deep veins, it may lead to a DVT. ...Read more
