I'm 23 male my ra factor is 100 positive my ccp is 16 negative , sed rate 12 negative, and crp .13 negative can high blood fats cause + ra factor?
See below: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, rheumatoid factor is not a specific marker for rheumatoid arthritis. It can be positive in many situations, including recovery from infection. High blood fat per se is not a cause of +RA factor. ...Read more

I am coughing up green lumpy stuff. I have a RA and see pulmonologist for issue I have some nodules and cough up infection everyday but caught flu?
Influenza: Hopefully you're immunized yearly with flu vaccine. If you become ill and suspect influenza you should be tested and treated with an antiviral. If you have pulmonary nodules from RA and were previously asymptomatic and now coughing up exudate it would be wise to go back and see your pulmonologist. Ra and its treatments makes you immune suppressed and at risk of very severe infections. Go now. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Why would one get an infection in an elbow a month after surgery there? Also has RA and many broken bones.
Immunosupression ?: Many medications that are used to treat rheumatoid arthritis can also suppress the immune system. That increases risk of infection or decreased wound healing. Prednisone can cause these side effects and it also can cause or worsen osteoporosis and lead to increased risk of fractures. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What are some causes of an over active immune system with a monoclonal T cell Beta gene receptor finding ? Have tested negative for Ana / RA / viruses
No simple answer.: t-cell receptor studies prove clonality, meaning an expansion of a single line of T-cells, a kind of immune system cell. The test is mainly used to confirm the presence of T-cell cancers, but is not sufficient for cancer diagnosis because it's too sensitive and not specific. Anything that stimulates the immune system, infections, autoimmune diseases, inflammatory states, will produce a positive. ...Read more
