Not typical: It is not normal to have bilateral joint swelling on a regular basis. If you only had feet swelling after working a shift you might be able to explain that but not with the knees or hands. You're ill: Viral illnesses must run their course. You're acutely ill right now. Go to bed. Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated and raise your BP (low BP is contributing to your weak, dizzy, faint feeling). Eat salty foods. Rest. Be patient. If not improving in 5 days, be re-evaluated. You would do well to establish a relationship with a family doc and not use urgent care so you have continuity of care. ...Read more
