Took vicodin for a root canal, just a 5mg, I forgot and then took 50mg of benedry. I'm going to sleep will I be ok?
Vicodin/benadryl: Should not be a problem. 5 mg of Vicodin (hydrocodone) is a low dose especially as a one time medication. The benadryl (diphenhydramine) will likely make you sleepy but there should NOT be a problem this one time. By all means you should NOT consume any alcoholic beverages tonight. ...Read more
Is it safe to take vicodin 12hrs after taking tramadol? I have been on tramadol for a chronic issue. I was just recently in an auto accident and hurt my neck. It is the worst at night trying to sleep. So the same dr prescribed me to take a vicodin before
Yes, it's OK: Tramadol would be out of your system in about 8 hours and if the Vicodin is taken at bedtime the only potential issue is sleepiness. Which would help you to deal with the night pain. So go ahead, especially if your doc prescribed them both and recommended both, and if you occasionally need both to control the pain. ...Read more

You are setting yourself up for addiction (loss of control over drug use).

Took 3 ibuprofins today (9am, 2pm, 7pm). Is it safe to take norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) before I sleep. My jaw really hurts due to wisdom teeth extractions.
Take as directed: Ibuprofen tablets are usually 200 mg - and you should check that. A typical dose is 200, 400, or 600 mg at one time, and I can not tell from your question whether you took "3 ibuprofins" each time, or "1" each time. In any case, Norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) should not be a problem in addition to the ibuprofen, if it was prescribed by your dentist / oral surgeon. Ice helps too! ...Read more
It depends: Your question is somewhat vague. All medications when appropriately prescribed for its indication and taken as directed by a physician should not be a problem.
