Yes: Room temperature and humidity are two different things. It is e to have your ac on and still use a humidifier. Just don't get the rooms too cool or too hot when baby is sick. Hot steam vaporizers are not recommended around children at all due to the risk of burns. The vicks doesn't "cure" the cold, and isn't necessarily effective.
