Very Swollen Vagina
Yeast: Itchiness in the vagina is nearly always yeast. Itchy and sore, definitely can go together when a woman has a yeast infection. You can see a doctor for confirmation or you can try otc anti-fungal and see if it gets better with that. I typically recommend a 5 or 7 day regimen. If not better in a few days, make an apt to see a doctor. Good luck! ...Read more
Day3 period, vagina very itchy, labia minora nd area around clitoris & lips is very red very and itchy.been like that 4 days.used daktacort nthg hapned?
Likely yeast: Red and itchy is almost always yeast. But it could also be an allergic reaction, or something else. Daktacort contains both an anti-yeast and a steroid, so in theory it should address the two main issues. Could be...: Could be a yeast infection especially if you are having white discharge associated. If you had sex recently it could be related to trauma after the fact. Have swollen lymph nodes around pubic bone. Vaginal discomfort, feels swollen. Little odorless discharge, pelvis feels tender. Is it yeast infectio?
Atypical for yeast: These are not typical symptoms for yeast, which doesn't cause enlarged lymph nodes or pevlic tenderness -- but both may depend on exactly where the discomfort is located. Other infections are more likely; or a non-infectious cause. Herpes or another STD might be possible, but of course only if you are at risk (new or unsafe partner, etc). Best to not speculate and see a doctor ASAP. Good luck. ...Read more
Nasal Vestibulitis: When the tip of the nose is painful, red and swollen, it is often due to infection of the tip of nose where the small hairs on the inside of the nose are involved. This is a form of folliculitis or infection of these small nasal hairs. It often requires treatment, but the best form of treatment is a topical antibiotic ointment. You'll need to see your provider for evaluation and treatment. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
