Very Swollen And Itchy Urethra
Male or Female: You can not see your urethra as only visible is the urethral opening through which the urine comes out. If you mean your urethral opening is swollen, it may be due to an infection and as it is also itchy it can be due to allergic reaction to a bite or something else. Whatever it is if it is of concern you should have it checked by your doctor.
The canal through which urine exits the bladder, discharging the urine externally. In men, it is about 20-cm long with a membranous, prostatic, bulbar, and pendulous segments ending at the glans penis; it gives passage to the spermatic fluid as well as urine. In the female, the urethra is about 4 cm long & in close relation with the anterior ...Read more
Maybe not yeast: This may or may not be a yeast infection. If yeasts, some are resistant to Monistat and other "azole" drugs. Hard to recommend an OTC remedy when the cause isn't known. Best to see a doctor, but you could try vaginal boric acid capsules, which are available OTC and can help some yeast infections. For sure see a doctor if boric acid doesn't help. Good luck!
I have a swollen urethra vaginal area and in my bikini line area next to vaginal is itchy. Lots of red. What can this be? I leave on week vacation tom
Recommend recheck ok: Plan a recheck with your doctor when you return, try not to scratch the area, use mild soap and water to keep the clean, keep dry, I am available for second opinion if needed
My urethra is swollen (sticking out of my vaginal lips) and becomes itchy when it comes in contact with soap, but otherwise feels fine. Is this normal?
No: No this is most definitely not normal, especially in a 16-year-old female. See a urologist or gynecologist for evaluation soon.
Female, very itchy urethra, swollen clitoral hood and labia minora, frequent urinating/burning, and soreness on top of vagina, ?
I found white thick pus from my penis' urethral after unprotected anal sex 20 hr ago. My penis is not swollen, painful or itchy. What could I have got?
Here are some...: The described symptoms are sporadic or constant, bearable or unbearable, with any urethral discharge or not, with prior Rx or not for STD. These have to be define so to decide if to or not to treat them. So, collect these information and bring them to see Doc for analysis, more history, physicals, and possible tests so to deduce possible diagnosis for possible treatment timely.
I've got a spot above my urethra, its only itchy if something touches it + the top is red. Its not very big but I did only find it this morning. Help?
Here are some...: The described information is not enough to draw a conclusion. To verify the diagnosis, now is the time to analyze info on the onset, degree, duration, evolution, & progress of the symptoms & signs as well as their potentially related discomforts over time, conduct physical examination with inspection and palpation, & order tests as needed so to deduce possible diagnosis for reasonable Rx.
Several things: Problems like these can only be correctly handled by your doctor in person. He/she needs to listen to you, perform an examination and possibly run labs or other tests. That's the only way he/she can find out what's going on and what to do about it.
Unprotected oral from high risk female. Itchy urethra, took 1week levo, then 1week denvar, now im taking itraconazol. Itchy urethra still present. Help?
Stop all treatment: Oral sex is safe sex -- not completely risk free, but low risk for all STDs and zero for several. Any infection from that exposure that could have caused urethral itching would have been cured by one or more of the antibiotics you took. Probably this symptoms is psychological, resulting from anxiety over a sexual decision you regret. You have no infection. See a doctor if still concerned.
Infection?: Could be a few things like yeast infection a urinary track infection or perhaps just dehydrated see your doctor for exam and treatment
Itchy urethra and runny milky discharge from my vagina, what could this be because I was tested recently and was cleared. Help!
Go back to doctor: This is obviously not normal and may have changed since you were tested last. Hope you are better soon.
Unreal urethra discomfort/itchy for 1month+ after unprotected oral with high risk female (CSW). Diagnosed CPPS, is this possible? Recommendations? Plz!
Possible: But the exact cause of CPPS is unknown, and it does NOT appear to be due to infection. Stress plays a big role in CPPS, and other potential causes/infections need to be ruled out before treatment can begin. I would recommend consulting a urologist if you haven't already. Always use protection - always! You are also increasing your odds of an STD by using a CSW AND enabling human trafficking.See 1 more doctor answer
During my period, I was kind of itchy around my urethra opening. And now that's its done, it still itches. What can I do at home?
Yeast infection: Likely. On another note, you are 16 and suffer from infertility? You have an entire life ahead of you.
Got diagnosed UTI after unprotected oral from high risk female. Levo500mg for 1week then dr changed to denvar400mg because itchy urethra isn't gone???

Can oxybutin cause urethra burning and vaginal dryness? I notice since I started taking it is hurt with sexual activity as well. Feel very dry/itchy.
Let your dr know: Dryness of the mouth is common with oxybutin, and you don't want to get dehydrated. If your mucous membranes are dry, and you are complaining of itching, it may be leading to your symptoms of vaginal dryness too, but this can't be confirmed without seeing your doctor first. S/he may need to adjust the dose, or switch to something else altogether. Do hydrate well while taking it.
Had rigid cystoscopy under ga yesterday got some pain but urethra has got really itchy sore is this normal?

Hello. I've experience recently a white tiny bump around the urethra. Its itchy and it does not hurt when I pee. Could it be a skene gland cyst?
How to tell between UTI and CPPS? Antibiotics (levo/denvar/itraconazol) not fixing urethra discomfort (itchy/burn). Dr says its CPPS. Will it cure? Help
Here are some...: UTI denotes inflammatory change of urinary tract caused by infective agents, chiefly bacteria, and CPPS is designed to include the symptom-complex affecting genital-urinary organs residing in pelvic cavity, which is likely caused by some irritation to regional muscles, joints, & nerves, not by infective origan. For detail, need comprehensive evaluation & counseling... Best wish...
