My toenail got ripped off and grew back short thick & yellow. What's a working cream or medicine to use for over the counter? Most effecting please!!!
The problem here: Is you need to know if the toenail became fungal or if that nail is thick for other reasons. I.e bacterial colonization or subungual keratinazation. A thick yellow stubby nail is not always fungal. Topical meds for fungus are not highly effective either. If your inclined to try one you can but you will be applying for many months duration & 1 is not necessarily better than others.
Put on an: Antibiotic like neosporin and keep it covered with a band aid.
Put on a topical: Antibiotic a bandaid and don't worry. If you get an ingrown visit a podiatrist.
Hi! So my toenails are very short and I cannot grow them out at all. I tend to get ingrown toenails frequently and the skin on the corners of my big toe are very thick. Is that normal?
See a podiatrist: If you are constantly getting ingrown nails, seek out a podiatrist. It is a simple procedure to correct.See 2 more doctor answers
How can I get rid of ingrown toe nails? I have major problems with ingrown toenails, I clip them out only to have them back in a short period of time.
Ingrown nails: Many times, ingrown nails are actually caused by a deformity at the nail root or matrix. If you have had to remove them several times, chances are some type of surgical procedure would need to be done to stop the nail from growing at that border. It is a simple procedure and has very good outcomes.See 3 more doctor answers
When trimming my toenails about two weeks ago, I cut my big toe nail very short now I see a pink line. Could it be Bacterial Endocarditis or trauma?
Local infection?: I wouldn't think endocarditis based on that. But it could be a local infection. When we cut nails too short; or pull off too much, we can tug some skin out with the nail, leaving a cut that can allow for the introduction of bacteria.

They don't: Just because they are short and dirty does not mean they will fall off
Found out left leg is shorter 1.5 can this be causing my pain all along my left side body from foot to neck? If so what can I do?
Short Leg: Yes. Having one side shorter can cause compensations throught the knees, hips, back and neck. A simplme lift to the shoe can help to couteract all of this. See a foot and ankle specialist for a complete exam and to see if special inserts or a shoe modification can help you out.
