How can I get rid of a severe and infected (also very painful) ingrown hair on the back of my leg, close to my butt?

Ingrown hair that is not painful or inflamed has been there for several years. It is roughly the size of two peas side by side how to remove at home?
Seek a Professional: Removing an ingrown hair is minor surgery, but still carries risks like infection, bleeding and recurrence. Home surgery is not recommended except maybe, rarely in very dire circumstances. Your problem is elective and correctable with proper care. Seek proper care before it becomes infected on its own. ...Read more

After pulling a ingrown hair out, why is the hard lump still there? It's not painful at all to touch just feels like a soft/hard lump that's long?
Details matter: Where on your body? How large? How long? Every hair has an associated oil gland secreting sebum. An ingrown hair may have a blocked oil gland at it's root which may form a pocket (cyst) of sebum. There may also be residual swelling, inflammation which can subside over a week or 2. If you are concerned, a dermatologist can easily take care of it. ...Read more

I have red lumps on my underarms. Sometimes they are small and red with ingrown hair and sometimes they are big and painful. I use an electric razor.
Folliculitis: Electric razors used under the arms can pull too much and give some people ingrown hair and infected follicles. Red itchy hard painful bump on calf. Possibly ingrown hair. Pulled tiny sharp hair out, hurt worse. Applied bag balm. Bump smaller now, but I limp.?
Doctor can check: A bump from an ingrown hair on the lower leg should not cause an amount of pain that would make a person limp. There could be something more serious there, and one's primary care doctor can examine the area to see what is going on. If the area is infected you will need antibiotics, and possibly a procedure called an I&D (incision and drainage). Otherwise, you could try warm compresses to the area three times a day, if it drains on its own, apply an antibacterial ointment to the area twice a day and monitor. If it does not improve see your doctor.

Painful bump between inner/outer labia, I just shaved so I thought ingrown hair, but this is the area w/o hair. Looks like whitehead. Never had sex.
What you described suggests a Bartholin cyst, due to blockage of the duct of gland normally present at the opening of the vagina. It is of no concern, unless it gets infected. Shaving your private parts is not a good idea and it makes you more likely to get infection.
