Hello,: Hello, I can not diagnose the lump on your back. It might be a lipoma which is a soft fatty tumor under the skin. It could be a cyst or an abcess. Because it is now symptomatic (painful/ tender) it is probably time to see your doctor again. Let your parents know so that they can get you seen. If it gets red, hot, drains or you get a fever, you need to get it treated more quickly. Take care. ...Read more

About 3 months ago I dropped a soup can on my big toe which bled and broke skin. Today its still really sore and sometimes my foot will lock. Why?

Follow up needed: It is likely that you broke a bone in your foot with something that heavy striking it. If so, then that would have caused you to change the way that you bear weight on your foot and how you walk. If so, you may have caused secondary problems such as tendinitis. The pain may be due to that or simply that the fracture has not healed or is healing. An x ray will tell you and your doc the answer. ...Read more

It can get bigger and then become an abscess which may require an incision & drainage. If u get yourself checked ASAP then if it is required an antibiotic can be started and no more may need to be done. The doctor also will make sure there are no lesions or infections in the drainage area as a cause. ...Read more
