Beta hCG level is 129.9 is it normal for 4 week 5 days pregnancy or low?

Beta hCG level is 129.9 is it normal for 4 week 5 days pregnancy or low?

Probably normal: Their is a large range of normal levels for HCG during early pregnancy. A single measurement is not always helpful. If the level were repeated then more could be determined by the change from the first to the second. Check with your health care provider for follow up. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

If i've had a biochemical pregnancy and I have a low hCG level now will it end?

If i've had a biochemical pregnancy and I have a low hCG level now will it end?

Pregnancy: Hcg levels correspond to the age of the pregnancy. In early pregnancy levels increase exponentially as the pregnancy progresses. In a normal pregnancy, one expects the levels to increase over time. A biochemical pregnancy is a positive HCG level which does not rise as expected. When all of the trophoblast is gone (complete miscarriage) then the ncg level will return to negative. ...Read more

Has anyone ever had a viable pregnancy with low hCG levels that are slow to rise?

Yes: Beta-hcg levels do vary and there are definitely cases that fall outside the 'norm' as it were and are successful, normal pregnancies. Slow rising betas are associated with poorer pregnancy outcomes, but it isn't a given. Stay in close contact with your doctor and follow directions on testing and ultrasounds and you'll be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you! ...Read more

What lowers hCG levels? I have taken a pregnancy test and i was wondering if my hCG level wad low

Low HCG is normal: Hcg rises in pregnancy. Normally HCG is not present in detectable amounts, except near menopause. If your pregnancy test was done correctly and was negative, your HCG was at a normal non-pregnant low level. ...Read more

Is it true that some pregnancy test do not show up positive until you are 6-8 pregnant due to low hCG levels? I tested yesterday 8days late

Not likely: The current tests for HCG are quite sensitive and a properly done test, after a week of missed period, will be positive, if the woman is pregnant. You may wish to see your doctor for a blood test and may be an ultrasound exam. ...Read more

Two months late with a negative pregnancy test, is there a chance that i could be pregnant n just have to low of a hCG level to pick up?

Two months late with a negative pregnancy test, is there a chance that i could be pregnant n just have to low of a hCG level to pick up?

Trust the test: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctor's office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more

Wat dosage of cytotec (misoprostol) to give to terminate 4week 5 days pregnancy if beta hCG levels going low?

May not need: If beta HCG is dropping you likely are already having a miscarriage. Most physicians aren't recommending using Cytotec (misoprostol) alone to terminate a pregnancy. Most mds will provide Mifepristone combined with cytotec (misoprostol). I realize that some women will obtain Cytotec (misoprostol) in mexico or on-line and use at home without a doctor. This isn't safe. See a md if you need assistance with terminating a pregnancy. ...Read more

Is it possible to get pregnant if hCG levels are above 100 after a recent ectopic pregnancy? How low would they have to be to ovulate again?

Is it possible to get pregnant if hCG levels are above 100 after a recent ectopic pregnancy? How low would they have to be to ovulate again?

Zero: You need to wait until the HCG reaches zero to try again. That is for several reasons. First you could be at danger from the ectopic still if is not totally gone. Also after a miscarriage or an ectopic it is possible to have a type of pregnancy cancer where the HCG never goes down to zero. So in either case it is very important to follow the HCG down to zero first, . ...Read more

Is hcg level 46 considered low in early pregnancy? Knowing that my period is irregular(30-39) and last period was on 17 april.which week of pregnancy

Is hcg level 46 considered low in early pregnancy? Knowing that my period is irregular(30-39) and last period was on 17 april.which week of pregnancy

Do a follow up hCG: A level of 46 indicates very early pregnancy, most likely your OB will advise some serial levels every 48 hours or so for perhaps the next 2 or 3, and this should hopefully help determine how the pregnancy is doing. If the level rise looks appropriate, your OB will then determine when it may be optimum to do a pelvic ultrasound to determine the well being of the pregnancy. Best Wishes ...Read more

Please suggest home pregnancy kit to detect low hcg level too. Periods one month delay.

Not for levels.: Don't know of any tests that measure the actual level for home. You can send your blood to labs online, they have kits available to give you a reading of the level of HCG but otherwise any urine pregnancy test essentially uses the same activating reagent so they have the same efficacy. ...Read more

IUI done on 9thJuly.1st beta hcg on 22 july 4.7 , 2nd beta hcg on 24 July 7.8. Worried about low hcg levels.Should i continue pregnancy ? No cramps/sy

Expected increase : In early pregnancy hcg levels should come close to doubling every 48 hours. The actual level of hcg can vary widely depending on day of implantation, individual etc and therefore the level of hcg is not as helpful as the amount of rise in hcg over time. Unfortunately early pregnancy is a difficult time when there is no test that will tell you for sure if a pregnancy is normal or not. Hang in there ...Read more

Could I have an ectopic pregnancy with hCG levels too low for home pregnancy tests to detect even after 2 months? Missed 2 periods, but tested neg 3x.

Dx with pcos. Have had a normal period for over a year now, but am now two months late. Experiencing multiple pregnancy symptoms but got negative test result. Is it possible my hCG levels are too low to read bc of pcos?

Possible: It is always possible that you may be pregnant when you miss a period. Because you have pcos, it's hard to know if you are pregnant or simply skipping periods. Symptoms of pcos can mimic symptoms of pregnancy as well. If the tests have been negative it is unlikely that you're pregnant. Blood pregnancy tests are more sensitive than urine and can help alleviate your concerns. ...Read more

My wife's LMP is 11-03-17. Yesterday BHCG value is 654. she is 4W 5 days gestation age when test is taken. Is HCG level low?Doc said 2000 is expected

BetaHCG may be OK: The ranges of normal levels of betaHCG are quite variable and one value of 654 may not be considered a reliable means to date your pregnancy. Serial measurements of betaHCG x2 or 3, normally doubling levels and reassuring sonographic findings once the betaHCG have passed 1500 to 2000 will give you a much more accurate sense of the viability, location and of the gestational age of your pregnancy. ...Read more

Why would a doctor say that hCG levels in pregnancy can be 500 at 3-4 dpo? This would mean that a urine test would be positive at this point - how?

Don't know: The HCG typically becomes detectable in the urine about 10 days after conception. It is not likely that the HCG would be at the level you have been told by 3-4 days after ovulation. ...Read more
