My hcg levels are 386 miu/ml but i m getting a faint line on home pregnancy test is it normal to not to get darker line at this stage?

No need for urine: test. If you blood level of HCG is 386, that is diagnostic of pregnancy and there is no need for urine test. I trust that you are under the care of a doctor for the sake of your and your baby's health. Wish you good health and a healthy baby! ...Read more

The at home pregnancy test i belive was positive but the second line was very faint was it still a positive reading?

The at home pregnancy test i belive was positive but the second line was very faint was it still a positive reading?

Faint + is positive: The currently available home pregnancy test kits are highly accurate and easy to do, though they are not perfect. But, seeing a faint positive line is highly likely that you are pregnant. If u want a qick sure answer, do another test, use different brand. Start your prenatals, eat well, exercise regularly, and see doc regularly too. Congrats and good luck. ...Read more

I took two home pregnancy test and want to know if it were negative would any kind of 2nd line show??? Cause both test showed a really faint line

That's a positive: Result. Even a faint line indicates possible pregnancy. Wait another day or two, use your urine from the first thing in the morning, and use a test that says pregnant or not pregnant or a test that has a plus or minus. These tests are made to prevent confusion. If you really want to be sure, have a test done at your OB or MDs office. Take PNVs! And best wishes! ...Read more

The second line on my at home pregnancy test was very faint but i could still see it does it still count as being positive?

The second line on my at home pregnancy test was very faint but i could still see it does it still count as being positive?

Depends: Usually according to the test insert, the test is to be considered equivocal if faint. Would advice retesting in a day or 2 - if you are pregnant your urine HCG will increase and will give a better testing, if not you can be sure you are not with the repeat test. ...Read more

I just want to know is there a chance I could be pregnant? I took 2 home pregnancy test the first one was positive with a very faint line and the othe

I just want to know is there a chance I could be pregnant? I took 2 home pregnancy test the first one was positive with a very faint line and the othe

Possibly: Your question was not complete but I assume the other test was negative or you would not ask the question you ask. Home pregnancy tests are good but still have both false negatives and false positives particularly in the 1st 2 weeks of pregnancy. To get a full answer, ask your MD to have a blood test called a quantitative beta HCG. This will give you a yes or no answer and how far along. ...Read more

Had a home pregnancy test and at the first 10 to 15 minutes there was a second line but very faint barely seen .The next hour the line became clear ?

10 days: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection. ...Read more
