My husband passed away on an overdose of verapamil. Please explain side effects and causes of death with a overdose of this nature. ?

Slow the heart: There are 3 types of calcium channel blockers: first is norvasc/also called amlodipine. It opens the arteries fighting hbp, angina, and even raynaud's. 2nd is cardizem/diltiazem which is 1/2 way between Norvasc & verapamil (isoptin). Verapamil is the 3d and good for treating irregular heart beats, hbp, and angina as well as migraines. It likely slowed his heart &/or lowered the BP too far. Hrs.

Hi I just wanted to know if breast cancer is linked to taking verapamil? Is breast cancer one of the side effects ?

Hi I just wanted to know if breast cancer is linked to taking verapamil? Is breast cancer one of the side effects ?

I doubt it: A year after the big paper, there seems to be little ongoing concern. There was an older study with a similar result and many without any sign of a link. Epidemiology based on recollection generates huge amounts of garbage; physicians Rxing verapamil (a good medicine) may be more skilled at diagnosing breast cancer earlier, and there may be corruption. I would take the right BP med for you.

Extreme : Extreme fatigue is a very concerning symptom. It sounds like you have significant medical conditions. Please be sure your thyroid levels have been checked recently. You may need other blood tests including to be sure you are not anemic. Please be sure that your blood pressure is running normally. Your doctor will want to know about these symptoms.

What are the side effects of diethylpropion HCl ER 75mg?

Many: Possible side effects: arrhythmias, possible mentation changes and habit forming potential. I have never prescribed it, but per literature review its side effect profile is similar to Phentermine, commonly used for weight loss purposes. In my opinion the risk of using it outweighs its benefits.
