Alcohol and meds: Alcohol is a CNS depressant and can itself cause or worsen depression of which the meds listed are prescribed to treat. I have a very strong body odor. I am hiv+. I take suboxone, effexor, complera for hiv, vistaril, viibryd, (vilazodone hydrochloride) ambien. It is affecting the people around me?
MOM may be helpful.: Suboxone, effexor, and viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride) can all be contributing to excessive sweating that is the usual cause of body odor when the sweat interacts with skin bacteria. It is my understanding that a daily bath followed by dabbing a small amount of milk of magnesia (mom) under arms and on other high sweat areas often significantly helps. I've had moderate insomnia ever since increasing my dosage of Effexor (venlafaxine) XR to 225 mg about a month ago. Will the insomnia ever go away?
