Yesterday when I got up, there was a bump in my arm , and it was little reddish, today it's causing pain, I visited the doctor he gave me pain killer and Velosef (cephradine) should I be woried about it?

Mass: If your doctor prescribed velosef then it sounds like you are being treated for an infection. I would be watchful for increased swelling, redness or pus. If those things occur - than would obtain prompt follow up. Take care. ...Read more

Velocef is a first: Generation cephalosporin like keflin, keflex, a broad spectrum anti-biotic that has no role in treating candida. It is best managed with monistat or nizoral. Perhaps your obstrician read the report wrong, but go back and tell him/her it's the wrong drug. Candida is common; treatable; pregnant or non-pregnant. ...Read more
