Why are blue veins mire visible in breasts feet and hands over last two weeks. Not pregnancy. On period now?
Normal finding: I am amazed about how often I have women ask me about the veins on their breast. Occasionally they are spider veins but mostly they are blue veins. These are almost always normal findings and normal variations of chest veins. They tend to be more pronounced in fair skinned females and they may be related to hereditary factors, levels of hydration and even temperature changes.See 1 more doctor answer
I have very visible blue veins on my breasts and nipples since having my last child 6 years ago. Surgery or prevention tips?
Wait and watch: If the veins are not causing any symptoms and are not a cosmetic issue for any one other than yourself or your partner, it would be prudent to leave these alone. Treating such an issue is likely to be more trouble that it may be worth. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, low fat milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.See 1 more doctor answer

Started BC 02/07. Had protected sex 24/04. Veins in breasts visible; distended stomach; neg HPTs. BC Side effects? Have had monthly bleeds.
OCP side effects: Since you're using reliable contraception and having regular periods, you are unlikely to be pregnant. Estrogen in the pill could cause breast enlarging including more prominent appearing veins, especially if you have a light complexion. Progesterone can slow down the peristalsis of the intestinal tract which can cause bloating and constipation. Neither of these side effects are harmful.See 1 more doctor answer

Doctors may help: A primary care doctor can examine the breasts to see if there is a problem that is causing the blood vessels to appear bigger, fatter, darker, etc... If no infection, inflammation, tumor, etc..., is suspected inside the breast, then appearance may be helped by a dermatologist, plastic surgeon, or a vein specialist.See 2 more doctor answers
