Which is best for reducing appearance of varicose veins on thighs, diosmin or horse chestnut extract?
Neither: Both horse chestnut extract (active ingredient aescin) and diosmin seem beneficial for chronic venous insufficiency, where decreased tone in the leg veins cause lower leg swelling. If spider veins are increasing you should have a venous evaluation with a venous reflux exam to see if there is an underlying reason for the increased veins. You should see a vein specialist. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
