Veins In Hand Hurt And Bulging
I have numbing and tingling in my arm, stiffness in wrist, bulging veins in hand bright blue veins what can cause this?
? Blood Clot: You need a detailed examination from a hand and upper extremity specialist. Bulging veins may signify poor venous drainage from your hand, and this could be due to a variety of reasons, including blood clots, thoracic outlet syndrome - to name two. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Why do my veins in my wrists neck head ankles and feet feel tender and swollen. Lots of blue veins in my legs both baricose and spider. What causes?
Maybe bad valves : One reason is xs fluid or poor heart function. However at your age if you are in good health and active , poorly functioning valaves in the veins of your legs may cause blood to pool there . This would not explain the veins in .your arms and neck Sometimes normal veins arr prominent in thin people ...Read more
Bulging veins.: Varicose veins are due to leaking valves in the saphenous vein system. There is a strong hereditary component. Leaking (refluxing) valves can lead to varicose veins, leg and foot swelling. If you have varicose veins, then you should see a vein specialist for a full venous evaluation including a venous ultrasound to help to make the diagnosis and determine treatment. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Veins in left arm popping out and feel tight with numbness in both hands and arms especially my right thumb?
Neurologist: I feel that a neurologist is best qualified to evaluate your symptoms as they may be due to nerve impingements or a peripheral neuropathy. The veins in your arm should collapse as you raise the arm to shoulder height. If the veins remain distended at that height, an obstruction higher in the arm would be possibly present and for this a vascular surgeon may be consulted. ...Read more
The veins in my wrists and arms hurt i get shooting pains in them. There's no redness or bulging they look normal but very painful?
Probably normal: It is unusual for arm veins to to hurt unless they are inflamed or have a clot in them. What you describe does not go along with either one. I do not think that your veins are the cause of the problem. Something else is causing your pain. ...Read more
I experience painful blood vessels in hands feet, legs and arms, burst veins, cramp, painful spasms in neck, tinitus and tingling in hands and mouth?
Sounds like: some of your symptoms may be related to your fibromyalgia. It does not look like you are taking any medication for this. If you are having swelling/edema in your extremities that can also be a cause for the "burst veins". Varicose veins can also become inflamed, causing your symptoms. I would recommend you see your doctor to have these addressed. There ARE treatments for fibromyalgia! ...Read more
Pain burning n tingling in both hands and fingers.Right hand esp.veins very visible. Cannot lift anything heavy. Fingers painful if I move them?
Hands and veins very swollen and painful. My hands and feet often swell (due to stimulants?) but this is extreme. Veins on hands bulge more than feet
Discuss w/ provider: The provider who prescribed the stimulants needs to know about this symptom and consider if it is a side effect or something else. In any case, that can lead to a corrective plan. Perhaps alternatives to long term stimulants can be found - they play rough w/ bodies over time. Call ASAP and best wishes for resolving this. ...Read more
When standing, vein on top of right foot running along inside ankle and up into leg is very prominent and bulging much more noticeably that left foot.
Hands swell constantly, veins in hand and arms are more prominent and tend to bulge. Also, arms get tired easily.
It's is. Hard to : Say that one should look for any one thing. There are any reasons one may have swelling from carpal tunnel to vascular reasons to diet or endocrine and hormone reasons. I'd start with a good general physical from a primary care provider and go from there. Further clarification of exam and complaints can possibly then occur ...Read more
Probably normal: Usually, these are just normal veins. If they shrink when the hand is raised, don't hurt, & are soft, there is most likely no problem. If there is swelling of the arm, pain, redness, or the veins are firm, further evaluation should be done for clot or infection. They can be treated with sclerotherapy to improve appearance if desired. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
My veins in my hands bulge out?And in my right hand i have pain where the veins are not the bottom part what do i do
While the hand is an: unusual place to get a blood clot or phlebitis, it can happen. While I don't quite understand "where the veins are not...the bottom part" (? over the knuckles or close to the wrist?) a small blood clot or inflammation could obstruct blood flow and cause veins to bulge. Especially because there is pain (you don't mention redness/heat), I would have this evaluated by your Doctor. Good wishes:) ...Read more
