HYDRATE: I suspect you are under hydrated. The colon's function is to pull excess fluid from the body waste. If you are under hydrated, your stool will become very firm. My stool is never hard anymore. Always soft & mushy. Hard to pass. Why might this be? Sometimes easy cause it's thick watery.
Multiple reasons: Interfere diet has changed where you are not taking in adequate fiber will have soft and mushy stool.
