Vegetarian Diet Frequent Urination
What should be right kind of vegetarian diet for a diabetic who just got diagnosed with frequent sugar in urine?
Consider raw vegan:
My colleague gabriel cousens md has had astounding success treating diabetes with a raw food vegan diet & has written a book called "there is a cure for diabetes." this is a fairly radical concept not accepted by most doctors but seems well worth trying to see if it works. You can listen to an interview with dr. Cousens here: http://www. Naturalnews. Com/028341_diabetes_living_foods. Html

I've been eating healthy for about 3 1/2 weeks now. Watching nutrition and cut out processed. Is frequent urination common with diet change?
It is not uncommon!: The thing that seems to cause diuresis (increased urination) for most people with diet change is the significant reduction in sodium that comes with eating healthier/avoiding more processed foods. Often, when people lose more weight the first week or so on a "diet", it is chalked up to "water weight." Your body soon equilibrates. Remember, healthy drinking of more water also leads to more urine:) ...Read more

Frequent urination: If you have frequent urination (F), get a urine culture and urine analysis. Urinary tract infections can give your F. If you have one, get antibiotics to treat it. F can be seen in diabetes insipidus (DI) or diabetes mellitus (DM). Your urine analysis will show a dilute urine in DI and a urine with glucose in it in DM. Lack of water does not cause F. See a physician for a answer to your question ...Read more
Something not right.:
Urine is made from the liquid u consumed. Can't be from nothing. Remember: tea/coffee/juices/milk/sodas etc. Are mostly water. They just contain colorings and sugars/junks. Also, most of the food u eat contains water. Quite a bit of it actually. So, if you drink lots of the above liquid, u make urine. And they can be clear. If not, u would dry up like a twig fast.
Consult doc if u r concerned... ...Read more

Can you say if it could it cause frequent urination if I don't shake the dribbles off after I pee?
Post Void Dribbling:
Post void dribbling (pvd) results from incomplete contraction of the muscles around the urethra (urine channel). This results in urine that, with movement, can leak out.
This leakage is not an indication of overactive bladder and will not lead to frequency of urination.
With a kegel squeeze leftover urine can be passed. Milking the urethra from behind the scrotum forward can also expel it. ...Read more
