Healthy diet for a hepatitis b carrier. Viral load of 2255?

Avoid toxins: A healthy diet for you and most of the rest of us would consist of eating mostly a plant based diet void of the chemicals found in highly processed foods or antibiotics/hormones found in animal products from today's factory farms. Also, avoid alcohol in excess and hepatotoxic drugs and you can rest assured you are on the right path. Good luck! ...Read more

I have chrohns disease & pregnancy. Milk & leafy vegetables are useful in pregnancy, but they cause diarreah due to chrohns disease. Any alternative?

Trial and error: This is a common problem, pregnant or not. For the milk issue, you can try lactaid milk or pills. For the other foods, a probiotic or combination digestive enzyme/ probiotc combination like "daily body restore" might help. Ask your OB doc about anti-diarrheal pills that are safe. ...Read more

What is the best diet for auto immune illnesses?? . I've heard vegan I've heard paleo I've heard eat more fish.

No science here: These are simply folks' impressions, though they may be passionate about them. There aren't going to be prospective randomized studies because nobody will participate in them. Generally, food choices have little to do with health and disease despite all the huckstering. There are a few notable exceptions. If your physician agrees, working hard to stay fit often helps greatly with these. ...Read more
