I have heard how benzene is known to cause cancer and it's a derivative of petroleum so is there any amount of it on vaseline?
Forgive my frankness: Everything can be "shown to cause cancer" if you do some bad studies, and in fact the law in California requires essentially everything to be labeled as "known to cause cancer." Petrol jelly only: helps as a barrier for the surfaces that happen to be hurting or irritated. IT does help to lubricate and moisten the area as well.
