How long does it take for vancocin (vancomycin) & questran take to begin working for c diff ?

Longer than you need: The two should not be used together. The Cholestyramine (questran) given to bind the c. Difficile toxin will also bind the vancomycin. Would stop the Cholestyramine and see someone more familiar with treating this potential fatal intoxication. ...Read more
