If I got injected with steroid just once for a infection that it still make me gain weight?? Or vision problems ? Or bloat? It was betamethasone

Not to worry: Although these can be side effects of chronic use of steroid, one injection as you have described will do none of these things. Hopefully the injection helped whatever you were treating. ...Read more

What is the difference btw using celestone (betamethasone) or depot Medrol (methylprednisolone) for epidural steroid injections?

Betamethasone dipropionate Augmented 0.05% cream I am taking a drug test for a government job which I cannot test for steroids how long will this last?

Betamethasone dipropionate Augmented 0.05% cream I am taking a drug test for a government job which I cannot test for steroids how long will this last?

Don't worry : The topical steroid cream that you are using is a "catabolic" steroid, legal and not part of a job application drug screen. The drug screen would look for "anabolic" steroids which are what body builders use to get very large muscles. The drug screen will not come back positive for steroid use if you are using "catabolic" steroids. ...Read more

I have a scar that just formed on my right wrist as a result of a car accident. Would steroid creams help lighten the scar. I have an Rx for Betamethasone. As Drs say… Could this possibly do any 'harm ' if use liberally and for short period of time?

Use a small amount 2x daily for a month to know if it's working. Injectable steroids might work better. ...Read more

All steroids (derivatives of cholesterol) work by altering gene expression, worsen blood glucose control (Diabetes Mellitus) & suppress immune system functions (can thus aggravate infections).
